What began as a passion project inside a Chicago condo has blossomed into a thriving storefront with a mission. Fleurish Chicago, founded by Shavon Francis, is more than just a flower shop — it’s a story of growth, creativity, and community empowerment.

Shavon first discovered her love for floral design while creating arrangements for friends and family. Working out of her home, she quickly built a reputation for her unique, elegant, and vibrant floral creations. As demand grew, it became clear that her condo could no longer contain her blooming business.
Today, Fleurish Chicago stands proudly at 752 E 43rd St, Chicago, IL 60653, right in the heart of Bronzeville — a neighborhood rich in Black history, art, and entrepreneurship. The new space not only allows Shavon to expand her floral offerings but also serves a larger purpose.
Her goal is to use the Fleurish storefront as a platform for collaboration — hosting pop-ups, small business events, and creative showcases for other local entrepreneurs. By doing so, she hopes to continue Bronzeville’s legacy of innovation and community growth.
From her humble beginnings in a condo to building a creative hub on 43rd Street, Shavon Francis and Fleurish Chicago are proof that when passion meets purpose, beautiful things happen.
