On October 11, Chicago’s historic Martin Luther King Drive came alive with Market Day on MLK, a vibrant community event organized by Parkway Social, the creative collective led by renowned Chicago chef Cliff Rome, owner of the beloved Peach’s Restaurant on 47th Street.
Held at 4425 S. King Drive, the event celebrated the rich culture and creativity of Chicago’s South Side with a blend of food, art, and neighborhood unity. Dozens of local vendors filled the outdoor space, offering everything from handcrafted goods to flavorful dishes that reflected the city’s culinary diversity.
A large-scale inflatable art installation drew eyes and phones alike, serving as a striking centerpiece that captured the day’s playful yet artistic spirit.
